Mix techniques

unique and special

In the beginning there were portraits. Pencil and charcoal. But when I felt quite good about this topic, a new thought popped into my head… How about adding some color? Maybe flowers or butterflies?… Would these people’s faces take on a new dimension? Fascinated by Frida Kahlo and the works of Ashvin Harrison, I began to delve into watercolor and then acrylic techniques.

Then, day after day, new doors opened before me, through which I saw endless possibilities! And that’s how I fell in love with mixed techniques. I created a series of portraits of Frida Kahlo according to my vision, which quickly spread around the world. They hang in private collections in California, England, South Africa, Poland and Austria. I am currently working on a large project in which I am going to combine acrylic with charcoal, lace and sheet music.
