What delighted me in the acrylic technique is the unlimited possibilities. It is not only a wonderful range of colors, but also textures that can be created using various media. From flat, matte or glossy surfaces to even bas-reliefs. From works created only with paints, to compositions using various additives, such as lace, corrugated cardboard, newspapers, etc. The only limit here is our imagination! But the end result is something you want to look at all the time and even touch to feel the texture under your fingers… Acrylics are a complex and broad topic. These paints can imitate watercolor and oil painting. Unlike watercolors, where the creation process itself is very pleasant, acrylics require more time and work, and also take longer to dry, but the end result is incredibly satisfying! You can paint with acrylics on almost anything. My workshop, so far, is limited to paper and canvas. However, it is possible that in the future I will reach for other media, e.g. wood.
